This was a piece done for Mike Russell as a scene from the Pecan Festival. I hardly ever draw with colored pencils anymore and this picture reminded me of how slow going the process of using them was, but I'd forgotten all the neat brightness effects that I could achieve vs. my normal coloring method of using markers. I particularly like the parasol and boots for this reason.

Lovely arts! And I like the dress in particular; not many furry artists take such care when drawing clothes for their characters. Those that actually draw their characters /wearing/ clothes, anyway.
